Lots to see and do. Not very disabled friendly, though. Safe and friendly all day and at night. Got bus to bus station (a patch of ground 5 miles from centre) then another bus to wonderful castle and village. If we'd had a couple more days would have got a bus to south and stayed there a bit. Great City, people are so friendly, there is so much history some of it shocking in the way the country and its people suffered due to the country's leadership in not so distant times. The bars and cafe's were numerous and a pleasure to be in with reasonable prices and good customer service

Location is bit off the centre but busses arrive every 15 minutes or so and stop just in front of the house. In 30 minutes they can take you directly to the city centre. It is in the 5th floor and you have a beautiful view from the balcony (even the sunset). Parking space is provided in a garage. Breakfast was really tasty, large as well. Everything was within walking distance so I never used a taxi. It is also close to the main bus stop to the airport and has a connection to the bus stop that connects Tirana with other Balkan cities. The personnel was really friendly.
