It was Dope!!!!💯❗️❤️❤️❤️. The Ocean view.. the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful view was on point. The open Kitchen excellent. The caretakers were very friendly and polite and very helpful. Stay jumpstarted our month long tour. It set a beautiful precedent that was set and upped our expectations for El Nido. The stay was so good that we are now going to see about purchasing property there. The owner was very gracious about letting us use the Villa which is what I wanted. I have nothing but respect and positive feedback for our Stay. We will be looking forward to going there again.AAnonymous - 4.0Scored 4.0

Crazy crowded unfortunately. I have been knowing General Luna for more than 12 years and this place unfortunately is getting less and less attractive to me. It has become like a party place and probably it is attractive to those party people.

General Luna or Reef Beach Hotel is a Fleabag, literally. We were bitten by fleas in the bed and unfortunately we only realized the source on the 3rd day. This wasn’t even the room they were supposed to reserve for us after we paid half, 6 months in advance, they informed us Sorry, we didn’t keep your room“. They took responsibility for the fleas and moved us to another room. They did NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY TO REFUND US OUR MONEY, not even for the 3 nights, even though we were itching and scratching for another week. They offered to pay our medical expenses. Believe me, I would rather pay full price and no fleas. DON’T GO THERE, ITS NOT WORTH IT. _________ And this is before telling you about 3 parties into the night with music blasting (out of the 6 nights we booked there). The cockroaches in the rooms and reception. The smell of the room, but they did give us air freshener

The General Luna is a City place of resorts & hotel along the ocean. There are lots of eateries or restaurants, souvenirs store along the resorts/hotel you can choose. I think it is a safe place to go vacation & travel to this Siargao Islands & stay in Gen. Luna.

This is probably what Boracay was 25 years ago. It's got a great laid-back feel to it with hardly any touts and the restaurants are quite rustic but fit in really well and you have a lot to choose from. If you love surfing then it's the place for you, many breaks all over the island, if you like to be hassled to buy something then there is more hagglers than Bali, the tourist town of GL has lots of options for food, lots of shops to buy things, remember they cater for the party animal, there is lots of bars, loud music, Karaoke

Just a short 30 second walk to tuason point beach. the hosts Lara and paco were AMAZING! They helped us with everything from where to surf, where to eat, where to get groceries. It was nice that they hung out at the hostel and got to know the guests and partied with us too! Kitchen and chill out space is perfect and easy to meet people.
