The hotel is very clean. The employees are friendly and courteous. The room is large and the bed is comfortable. We had a deck that looked right out to the SanMiquel harbor and malecon. There was a breakfast buffet that ran from 7:00 am to 11:30 am and the food was filling and good. There is a swimming pool on the main floor that is very nice with lounge chairs and a view.

We stayed at the Barracuda twice. Once two weeks prior.
We stayed at the Barracuda twice. Once two weeks prior. This time it was because our booking at another resort was mishandled. I knew we would have just as a good, or better time if we spent the last 5 days at the Barracuda. We did. We enjoy being close to downtown for shopping and especially eating. We have two friends on the island that make for having a great time. This time we rented for one day a dune buggy. I went parasailing, my wife, snorkeling. We enjoy resting and taking int eh beach area of the Barracuda and the No Name Bar. As one staying there we received a 50% off our drinks and food if we paid cash (we did). Credit card still got you a 35% off. It was wonderful. When back in Cozumel, we will stay there from 1 to 4 nights anytime.

Since my first visit more than forty years ago, Cozumel has grown by an order of magnitude. I always consider it unfortunate but perhaps inevitable when the cruise ships find an island paradise. There follows all the same shops (tanzanite, anyone?) and price inflation, and for divers like us, it doesn't do the reefs any good. But Cozumel still has its charm. You can walk away from the cruise ship dominated centro and find a delightful town. Most of the Island is undeveloped and the windward side is fun to visit. Rent a jeep or a volkswagen convertible, grab your snorkeling gear, and spend the day swimming and snorkeling from a number of beaches. And of course the magnificent reefs that made Cozumel famous with SCUBA divers.

Sue strand was the best host her place is awesome the home is beautiful and best location you have everything you need in her home so don’t pack a lot I stayed two weeks originally it was for one I didn’t want to go home thankfully she had extra days open I did not want to go home and already let her know I am coming back in six weeks.I named her place Sue’s Heaven because that what it felt like entering her wrought iron gate you feel like all your worries are left at the door.Sue place is in the safest area right in town with locked gate and locked front door and a locked entrance to second floor and again a lock on your private entrance to your room which I never felt like I had to lock. Her neighbor next door is the sweetest lady I loved it that I get up normally around four am for coffee and she is an early bird so I would have a coffee buddy and she loves to go walking in morning first morning there we walked on ocean for six miles and stopped at my favorite restaurant on ocean Sunset and had the best breakfast than off to walk it off when we got back home I jumped in the lovely pool and layer out on lounger for the rest of the day so private. So if your looking at places to stay this is it I have been coming to Cozumel for forty years and stayed at resorts are condos which cost a a lot more and still needed to rent a car to get around but Sue place is in town a block from ocean and two blocks to grocery store and one block from heart of cozumel central square everything at your fingertips. What was great take you snorkle gear and walk up to beach no cost and swim and snorkle all day and every day.

Coral Island Suites is perfect for rest and relaxation!
Coral Island Suites is perfect for rest and relaxation! It is clean and beautiful. Jasmine is the best host! It’s located in a typical Mexican neighborhood-not noisy at night. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Definitely get a rental car-you’re not close to town and you’ll want to go to the other side of the island. The only disappointment for us was not swimming in the ocean-but we could have gone to one of the nearby beach clubs if we wanted. The pool is fantastic! Plenty of loungers. You’ll love it!!

I would go walking from hotel to diving boat marina every morning at 6:00AM and pet the dogs Shasho and Chapiro at the dive boat marina. been coming here for 40 years..then I go and play basketball with the locals as I have for 40 years...got a massage with Lucy +52 987 100 2744...each day for 26 days...Lucy is the best in the world....then go eat at Sucre Salse or Gordita Burrito....then go drink fresh coconut juice from the juice stand on the street 1/4 mile North of the airport connecting road by the ocean...I've spent a year of my life doing this and thank God that I can live the life I live.....
The breakfast at the Casa Mexicana is terrific. But what I loved most about the hotel was the staff. From the moment you step into the lobby there is a person to help. Gustavo is awesome and can help arrange any events or travel that you need while in Cozumel.
Rooms were nice sized and were kept spotless. In fact it amazed me how clean the entire hotel is all the time. The location is great. It is a five minute walk to the ferry, 10 minute taxi from the airport, and there are dozens of great restaurants and bars within a short walk.
Very nice colored relaxing place with outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Very friendly and helpful owners, always ready to help and inform. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Kitchen and fridge available for guests, next to the pool. Next to an “always” open supermarket. About 2km from the town center (and certainly quieter so), where ferries to Playa del Carmen are also located. Taxis to the center are cheap (50 pesos, ie less than 3 US$). Good wifi. Cozumel seems to be a quiet and globally safe place.
This place is an excellent option if you are looking for the best location vs. price. This is just a room in a guest house, if you are looking for a pool or any amenities this is not the place. But in Cozumel you can enjoy a lot of outdoor activities, the beach, the yatch, the cycling road, snorkel and dive, a lot of restaurants just walking by the downtown. Best location if you are looking best price and outdoor activities.
The hotel can be reached by foot from the port where ferries zu Cozumel arrive. The check in was easy and uncomplicated. Our room was equipped with air conditioning and of good size. The pool was well maintained and a nice extra. The city center with restaurants, bars and museums can easily reached by foot. There are supermarkets close by and parking is possible at the street.
Wonderful location on a series of amazing little beaches. Great snorkeling for adults and kids right off the hotel. Very comfortable rooms, beds, pillows, bathrooms. Delcious food and huge wine selection. Not cheap, but you're on an island, so it should be expected somewhat. Everything was high quality and excellent service. Also, a beautiful fitness gym that is top quality.
Cozy little "boutique" hotel with friendly, efficient, smiling, helpful staff, especially Yisel. Spacious, comfy rooms with good amenities.
Coffeemaker in the room wasn't working, but it was promptly replaced by the staff.
Good location (not seafront, obviously)
Nice, filling breakfast with eggs, ham, bacon, toast, fruit, coffee, juices.
This hotel is a very simple and clean place to stay in town on Cozumel. It is walking distance to the ferry terminal and has a small pool. Breakfast is very simple, but it is convenient that it is included. The area is quite in the evening, which is nice. The staff are very helpful. I would say this hotel is good value for the price.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast service and food were excellent. Views from the rooms and balconies are classic tropical sea views. The days I went out on a boat--one dive and one snorkel trip--the freelance staff (especially the dive instructor Marcus and the snorkel guide George) were excellent.
Everyone was very welcoming and extremely helpful answering all my questions regarding Cozumel and the hotel. Ivan & Oscar truly made sure my experience was an unforgettable one. They were accommodating and treated me as if I were family. I'll definitely be returning to Flamingo in future.
Second visit to venue. My first choice stay in Cozumel. The staff are kind and helpful. Quick 20 minute walk to town. No car needed. Very clean quiet safe and comfortable. Wonderful sunsets. Great little beach with umbrellas and lounge chairs. Swimming pool a plus. 5 stars for 10 day stay.
I loved the drift snorkeling along the beach! The water was crystal clear in front of the resort, fish swam around you. Long walks on the beach were amazing. The water was the most beautiful I’ve been in while in México. It’s very murky on the main land in Mexico!!
Sebastian is super friendly and helpful
Nice that there is a fridge available outside the room to keep your food and drinks cold.
The hotel is outside the very touristic area. Lots of typical local Mexican places nearby where you can eat (cheap).
The hotel and beach were great, the location is farther out from town which was perfect for us as we were looking for a quiet vacation. The beach was seriously the best we’ve had at an all inclusive ever and the hotel is so beautiful!
Position it’s great ! Organized common area and wonderful staff ! Excellent quality/money price
And possibility to book your dives directly from the school dive in Hostal, with the owner/ instructor
Best place to stay in Cozumel
Everything was amazing. In my opinion the best hotel in Cozumel. The water is amazing there. Right at the hotel you have a spot for amazing diving and snorkelling. There are two pools that are really nice.
We loved the pool, the bar area, the 3 restaurants they have, the breakfast, the all inclusive deal, the massage place in the hotel, the service provided by the staff, everything was taken care of.
The staff were great, very kind and helpful in all areas of the hotel. The food also much better than many all inclusives in terms of quality although portion size maybe a bit small.
The property staff was very helpful and dining quality was good. It is a good hotel if you don’t expect 5 stars and come to eat and drink. A very comfortable beds
the owner was not in the hotel but everything was organiced so well. we just got all the informations as de code for the frontdoor by whatsapp. Staff was good
