In the heart of the historic center of Montepulciano is La Casina di Rosa, a typical recently renovated Tuscan-style accommodation, so called because the very nice lady who lived for many years this house was called Rosa. Its position, 50 meters from the main street full of local shops and Vino Nobile shops, makes it perfect for experiencing the atmosphere of the place in full while ensuring the absence of night and daytime noise. The public transport stop is only 50 meters away and the parking lots just outside the historic center are only 150 meters away. To make access to the house more free, guests will check in independently, who will be able to find the house key inside the small safe located outside the door. The structure, with independent access, maintains the typical wooden and brick beam ceiling of the ancient Tuscan houses, is very cool in summer and is equipped with air conditioning, independent heating, free wi-fi connection and a full kitchen. The apartment can accommodate up to three people, being also equipped with an armchair bed.
I always live in Montepulciano, I am passionate about good music, volleyball and I love to go around with my motorcycle to enjoy the beauty of these beautiful places. If you want, I will be happy to give you advice on where to eat, taste good Vino Nobile or on what to visit in Montepulciano and in the neighboring countries. Pienza, Cortona, Bagno Vignoni are a few kilometers from Montepulciano and are definitely worth a visit. But if you want you can also visit Siena, Arezzo, Perugia or the splendid scenery of Lake Trasimeno.
f you decide to come to Montepulciano in the summer you will have the privilege of experiencing many events: the International Shipyard of Art in July, with concerts of classical music and operas, the evocative night of S. Lorenzo with Calici di Stelle in August and then get to end of August at the highly anticipated week of events that culminates with the Bravìo delle Botti, a competition in which two athletes for each of the eight districts compete in an 1800-meter uphill race along the streets of the historic center pushing and rolling a barrel of the weight of 80 km !! The arrival is located in the sumptuous Piazza Grande while the departure is only 50 meters from La Casina di Rosa !! During the week of events you can admire a series of events, including the Corteo dei Ceri, in which the eight districts will parade at night with their figures along the course of the race in medieval costumes using only the lighting of the fire !! And if you come in winter you will be amazed by the magical atmosphere of the Christmas markets and the castle of Santa Claus who accompany us up to the big party in Piazza Grande that will greet the new year.
